Information you provide

Contact forms collect your name, email address and the message or business details you choose to share. I use this information to respond to you, discuss collaborations and keep a record of our conversation. Submissions are processed through Squarespace and delivered to my Microsoft Outlook inbox. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in these forms.

When you join the newsletter, your email address and subscription information are stored in Squarespace Contacts and mailing lists. I use these details to send the updates you requested. Sending a contact message does not by itself subscribe you to marketing emails; any email-list option on a contact form is voluntary.

Website data and cookies

Squarespace hosts this site and processes technical information such as IP address, browser, device and network details to operate and protect it. Squarespace analytics may process referring pages, pages viewed, clicks and visit times to help me understand site use. Cookies and similar technologies support site functionality and, depending on settings and your choices, analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls displayed on this site. Blocking cookies may affect some features.

Forms use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam and abuse. Google may process device and interaction information for this purpose. See the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Service providers and external links

Information is handled by providers needed to run the site and communicate with you, including Squarespace, Microsoft Outlook and Google reCAPTCHA. Their processing may take place outside your state or country. See the Squarespace Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security or prevent fraud. I do not sell my contact submissions or mailing list.

Links to retailers and social platforms take you to services with their own privacy practices. Affiliate links, when used, may allow a retailer or affiliate provider to attribute a purchase through cookies or similar technology. Review the destination’s policies before providing information or buying anything.

Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or email me to request removal. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent. Contact the email above to make a request. I may need to verify your identity before acting. You may also contact your local privacy regulator.

I keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including responding to inquiries, managing subscriptions and meeting legal obligations. Some records may need to remain for legal or security reasons. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and updates

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me so I can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

I may update this policy as the site or its practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.

Newsletter signup notifications (Zapier)

When you subscribe through the footer newsletter form, Squarespace shares your signup information, including your email address, with Zapier. Zapier processes this information to send a signup notification containing your email address to my Microsoft Outlook inbox. This helps me manage new subscriptions. Your subscription remains stored in the Squarespace mailing list.

Zapier is an additional service provider used for this purpose. For details about its privacy practices, see the Zapier Privacy Statement. The choices and privacy request contact described above also apply to information handled through this notification workflow.
